Semiwon in Yangpyeong is a garden of water and flowers surrounded on three sides by Paldang Lake, and Gyeonggi-do’s first local garden. This autumn garden festival features water lilies, including the giant Victoria water lily, Australian and colorful tropical lilies. In 2026 it also hosts the Gyeonggi Garden Culture Expo. The area includes a lotus museum, a jar fountain and the Baedari floating bridge linked to the scholar Jeong Yak-yong.
